Founded in Manchester in 2014, Ezra & Gil began as a neighbourhood hangout for brunch, coffee, and community. Ten years later, the brand expanded to Liverpool, carrying forward its people-first ethos. This bespoke awning installation complements this welcoming identity, enhancing the Liverpool branch’s street presence while providing practical shelter for customers throughout the day.

Aura Awnings supplied & installed in collaboration with Base Awnings. This project required a high level of customisation to accommodate the building’s curved frontage and significant width of 10.4 metres with a 3.6 metre projection, specifying a fixing solution beyond standard brackets.
Base Awnings brought its expertise to deliver a bespoke solution for the project’s complex requirements. We created custom slotted brackets fabricated precisely to specification, allowing the awning to be securely fixed to the curved wall while maintaining a clean architectural finish.
Brand presentation was also a key consideration within this project. Custom sign writing was applied to reinforce Ezra & Gill’s branding, integrating seamlessly with the awning design and ensuring high street visibility.
The finished installation delivers a striking and functional addition to the Ezra & Gil Liverpool branch. The generous scale of the awning delivers effective coverage for up to 10 tables, while integrated LED lighting and heaters ensure a comfortable environment for customers throughout the day and into the early evening. The custom sign writing enhances brand impact, resulting in a professional, high-end finish that complements the building’s architecture.
